[Image taken 3.10.22] West Esplanade, York (in front of the floodgates/under the southern end of Lendal Bridge, next to the Perky Peacock cafe). Tom was about to give Sam a lift home. The reason for taking the image is that Tom has swapped his standard flag - see #166521 - for a sizable and striking pennant. "Two pounds from a charity shop!" He says it means drivers give him an extra two feet of space. I am often tailgated in the narrow residential streets where I live. This sounded like a positive development to me too. Other 'York'cycle today: #186525.
