[Image taken 4.11.21] Dame Judi Dench Walk, York. Ongoing flood works have once again closed the access between the riverside and (the accessible) Scarborough Bridge. There is a yellow 'tray' there for use by people who can't manage the step. Someone must have knowingly moved that. So why has no accessible provision been made while that access/exit is closed? There's no signage, no slope to/from riverside for people in mobility scooters/wheelchairs, with buggies, with adapted or laden cycles. Or for people who had just done a big supermarket shop by cycle. See also: #175474, #175475. Other images today: #175481, #175482, #175483, #175485, #175486.
