Photomap

Photo number:

The short but narrow and steep foot path, which is also used by cyclists, from the east end of Morris Rd NE16 down to the Coalway Lane path is inappropriately aligned. Note that the map, showing a right angled connection of paths, is wrong. You have to go uphill only to go downhill very steeply and dangerously (plus the kerb at the far end of Morris Road is not dropped for cyclists. The path could be realigned so that it is level, it's a question of connecting to the Coalway Lane path at the same level as Morris Road, and having some room for people to do the sharp turn if going west ot north or v.v. Separately, have some steps for pedestrians which would effectively cut off the corner for those coming from Morris Road and want to head north, i.e. downhill. Too many people attempt to slide down the grass and an accident and injury is inevitable. Obviously leave the path in front of the last two houses on Morris Rd.
