The problem is Gateshead Council's hasty ill thought out decision to make a major commuting road into a cycle only lane (Askew Road). This has caused a great deal of stress for the residents of Ochre Yards who find it difficult to leave and enter their estate. Gateshead Council should reverse all works done that started since late July 2020.
